Afifa gave a great performance to win in Scottsdale as a two year old and has dried out and matured beautifully since then into the white beauty she is now at 4 years old. Super tail carriage.

 

By the wonderful young stallion Nadeed Al Naif who has the classic Qatar recipe of Ansata Halim Shah blood from several sources- he is by a leading Egyptian sire of show horses Ansata Nile Echo - a stallion who always adds the necessary show attitude.  Nadeed’s dam is by Ashhal Al Rayyan - sire of last years World Champion Mare and traces to the Australian legend Simeon Safanad dam of another Stright Egyptian World Champion Stallion Simeon Shai as well as a reserve Simeon Sadik.

 

Afifa’s dam is Athena Al Zobair by the late, great World Champion Stallion Al Adeed Al Shaqab and out of a daughter of Imperial Madheen, closely double bred to German bred legend Messaoud. So her pedigree has a great range of the best Egyptian bloodlines from not just Qatar but all over the world. Tracing on her dam line to Bint Samiha - the dam of Nazeer she is of the coveted Hadbah Enzahieh strain that also produced Al Adeed Al Shaqab and Simeon Safanad and so many other notable horses within the Egyptian pool.

 

She carried her own foal last year  - a colt and is back in foal to Nisr Al Rayyan for a A Straight Egyptian Foal in 2020.
